Microsoft practice  ·  MODERN WORK

Microsoft 365 that people
actually use.

Licensing and implementation, licence utilisation and cost optimisation, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, identity and access management, and the migration and adoption work that decides whether any of it lands.

01 THE PROBLEM

What usually brings people here.

Licences nobody reassigned

Seats bought for a headcount plan that changed. E5 assigned to people who need E3. Leavers still licensed. The renewal comes around and the quantity is simply carried forward.

Tools deployed, not adopted

Teams is on every desktop and the work still happens in email attachments. SharePoint exists and nobody can find anything in it. The licence is paid either way.

Identity as an afterthought

Conditional access configured once and never revisited. Guest accounts with no expiry. Shared mailboxes with sign-in still enabled. Access that grew by exception.

  • Downgrade and reassignment recommendations
  • Renewal quantity modelling
  • Ongoing utilisation reporting

Collaboration and productivity

  • Microsoft Teams design, governance and telephony
  • SharePoint information architecture and permissions
  • OneDrive rollout and known-folder redirection
  • Retention, lifecycle and external sharing policy

Identity, migration and adoption

  • Entra ID configuration and conditional access
  • Multi-factor and privileged access setup

03 HOW WE ENGAGE

From first conversation to steady state.

01

Assess

Current-state discovery and documentation. Findings before design.

02

Design

Target-state architecture, signed off by your team and ours.

03

Deliver

Phased implementation with tested cutovers and inherited runbooks.

04

Optimise

Review once live — cost, performance, policy and licence fit.

05

Operate

Managed service, or a clean documented handover. Decided upfront.

04 OUTCOMES

What changes when this is done properly.

Described as outcomes rather than numbers. We publish measured figures only where a customer has approved the reference and the measurement method can be stated.

01

The licence count matches the organisation. Seats reflect who works there and what they actually do, and the renewal quantity is a decision rather than an inherited number.

02

Collaboration has a shape. Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive have defined roles, governed lifecycles and an information architecture people can navigate without asking.

03

Access is governed by policy. Conditional access, MFA and privileged roles are configured deliberately, documented, and reviewed on a schedule rather than after an incident.

04

Migration doesn't strand anyone. Mail, files and permissions arrive intact, with a support model for the weeks after cutover when the real questions surface.
